Breakfast in a beach chair with a view of the rising sun. That's what we want on vacation. And that's exactly what we get at the Buchholz bakery in Greetsiel. Breakfast for two - similar to the English high tea - is served on a cake stand and offers plenty of choice, hearty and sweet. I was a little disappointed by the great weather, which is why we didn't sit on the upper floor, but in the beach chair again: I had imagined that on our second visit to Greetsiel in late summer we would sit under the sloping roof and have breakfast there 😀

Employees with disabilities are not welcome! Due to my visual impairment, I couldn't read the price tag behind the cash register and we wanted to take a photo of it to enlarge it. Very unfriendly we were told that we are not allowed to take pictures here. We asked for clarification of the facts and the name of the employee, who reacted absolutely uncooperative and cheeky. When I asked if she had a problem with my handicap, the only answer was: "I'm not even talking to you"

Compliance with the hygiene regulations in outdoor areas is zero. During our stay yesterday we could observe several times that the tables were cleaned very sloppily after the guest change. Your employees should work more carefully here.

With us everything was great in Corona times. We took the order at the table. We really liked the ambience. The cappuccino was delicious, as was the strawberry and tangerine cake. The only weak point, card payment is not accepted. Although at these times cashless payments are required everywhere. Well, it went like that. All in all very recommendable.
